Our Ministries

At Living Word Church, we have ministries available for each stage of life. Our hope is that by being with like-minded believers, you'll always have someone to lean on, laugh with and help you stay on the righteous path.

Littles & Children

At SonRise Kids, children will learn God's word while having a good time in a safe environment. We have a passion for Jesus and a love for all children. We have praise and worship, Bible lessons, videos, activities, crafts and much more!

Students

The mission of Elevate Student Ministries is to help each student deepen their relationship with Jesus, while equipping them to share their faith and lead others into a growing relationship with Christ. We also aim to create a welcoming environment where students can build lasting and meaningful relationships with their peers and leaders.

At Living Word Church, we have a community for whatever walk of life you may be at, from young adult meetups to discipleship classes and women and men's bible studies.

About Us

Living Word Church was started as a home Bible study in Jasper, Georgia in 1984, growing and evolving over the years. The church has always been bible based and community focused operating under our statement of “Loving God, Loving People”.

Our core values and beliefs are a commitment to Jesus Christ as the central figure, the Bible as the ultimate authority, love and compassion for others, service to the community, personal growth through faith, worshiping God in spirit and truth, and ministering.

Besides God's divine plan, people help make our church a special place and we couldn't do it without our staff, elders and volunteers. Meet some of the children of God that keeps this place a beacon of light.
